- Automated thermography with collaborative robots for process/production monitoring.

We have equipped a robot arm with our ENLIGHT technology based on advanced algorithms for processing images captured by thermography, hyperspectral image sensors, NIR cameras, etc., which is designed to work on a local server or remotely and connects with the Alava Group's IIoT platform to automate and digitize factory processes through various use cases related to predictive maintenance, process/asset monitoring or quality control. It is the engine of a complete ecosystem of specific and customized applications such as AIDAN, designed as a digital industrial 4.0 solution and whose common goal is to anticipate failures and optimize complete industrial processes.

- HIperespectral on-line control for quality monitoring.

The system we present is an on-line NIR analyzer designed to continuously monitor chemical composition and to optimally determine the final mixing point of different components. This technology connected to a quality system allows us to digitize composition parameters of our product automatically, such as the percentage of fat in a sliced sausage or the presence of acrylamides (carcinogenic substance) in a cooking process.

- Wireless self-diagnostic systems for predictive maintenance of engines.

The platform we present for the area of predictive maintenance and asset monitoring allows us to diagnose possible failures in the engines of any factory, anticipating future unplanned shutdowns and deducing the origin of the failure through algorithms that work on a cloud platform based on acquired data such as vibrations or temperature and process variables.

During these days, the Industry 4.0 Congress is also taking place, where more than 180 international experts will meet to share success stories from the aeronautics, automation, railroad, textile, food, steel and pharma sectors. On behalf of Grupo Álava, Javier Arias will give a presentation related to Quality in Industry 4.0, where he will talk about how to apply new technologies for quality control and how to carry out these projects successfully.
