What use is an infrared camera for COVID19 issues? To detect elevated body temperature over an average distribution of known data.
Can infrared cameras accurately measure a group of people in motion? No, there are no cameras on the market with sufficient resolution to accurately measure many people at once. So with today's technology, by measuring with less resolution than necessary we will be integrating areas of lower temperature in our result, thus providing a lower temperature measurement than the real one.
How should the temperature measurement be performed? If possible, one at a time (maximum 2 at a time) and looking at the camera while standing still for at least one second.
Is it possible to measure with glasses? No.
Why do you have to measure without glasses? Because we must measure in the tear area for a good correlation between internal and external temperature and the glass is opaque to infrared.
