Preditec | Grupo Álava was a sponsor of the 6th Spanish Maintenance Congress in Tarragona held last March 28, 2017.
Preditec | Grupo Álava presented the latest advances in Predictive Maintenance and how they are integrated with the new Industry 4.0 technologies: Wireless Eagle, AWM, Preconcert, etc. In thermography: Infrared Windows, OGI gas leak detection cameras, FLIR Thermographic Maintenance Cameras, T&M test and measurement equipment, ATEX instrumentation, etc.

We are constantly receiving information where the concepts of Industry 4.0, IIoT, Big Data and predictive maintenance are related. Predictive or condition-based maintenance relies on the monitoring of machinery to optimize the scheduling of maintenance tasks. In an environment where machines are sensorized with IIoT technologies and the generated data is automatically monitored and analyzed, we will have much easier to obtain information about the status of critical assets, in order to schedule or not the maintenance tasks that minimize the risk of an unexpected failure. This paper analyzes the advantages and difficulties of modern monitoring systems to face the industrial revolution of digitization and intelligent management of the maintenance of means of production.
