Crash tests of vehicles against fixed objects make it possible to reproduce the behavior of the vehicle in a wide range of configurations both in the direction of impact, in the occupancy level of the vehicles and in the objects against which the vehicle collides.

Battery testing laboratory

Battery testing can generate potentially dangerous situations such as excessive increases in the internal temperature of the batteries leading to thermal runaway situations, or the formation of hazardous atmospheres due to the release of combustible gases.

To minimize the chances of this happening, we work on a set of safety elements according to the EUCAR (European Council for Automotive R&D) regulation that has defined different safety levels.

Aerospace Developments

Space simulators

The space simulation chambers simulate the environmental conditions to which satellites, satellite parts and positioning systems are subjected, mainly in high vacuum and extreme temperature ranges. Among the most outstanding projects are the modernization of the thermoregulation system of the 8m3 space simulator of ESA (European Space Agency), the contract for the supply of a 200 m3 space simulator for the test and validation of the observation satellite currently under development for the Turkish government, as well as two other space simulators of 17 ^m3and 0.5 ^m3for the same project.

The Russian Institute for Aerospace Progress has also chosen ACS as the best technological option for the modification of its existing 500 ^m3 space simulator, as well as the supply of a new 8 ^m3simulator and some smaller chambers.

Defense and Security Developments

Explosives detection

Systems capable of performing a reliable analysis in less than eight seconds, making their use of vital importance at various airport checkpoints. Technology capable of detecting, identifying and analyzing chemical traces of explosives on skin, clothing, transported items, suitcases, vehicles and other surfaces.

In addition, it is a project that involves a maintenance service with 24-hour coverage and very demanding response times ranging from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the airport.

Ballistic laboratory

Supply, installation and commissioning of the necessary equipment for the measurement of ballistic parameters in a laboratory: infrared barriers, firing units, test barrels, systems for measuring pressure, action times, velocity, cadence, etc.
