PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Digital twins, the future
The READY TWIN project aims to research on various technologies, techniques, tools, methodology and knowledge aimed at developing technological solutions for the generation of digital twins and to improve the exploitation of industrial assets. The development of technological solutions such as 3D modeling and Internet of Things are able to generate digital twins in an automated way.
From here, the virtual replica uses a series of disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, visualization technologies, virtual reality simulation and augmented reality, or Blockchain technologies to achieve the optimization of asset management and greater energy and resource efficiency. Therefore, this project is part of the intelligent management of complex assets and is based on intersectoral collaboration, industrial research and innovation to achieve the goal of improving the competitiveness of the industry and promote an innovative economic model with a great socioeconomic impact on the Spanish industrial fabric, capable of being replicated in different productive sectors.
The Ready Twin project is formed by a consortium of innovative technology and engineering companies led by the Spanish company Álava Ingenieros, a company specialized in high-tech solutions for industry, with the participation of other Spanish companies such as MonoM, Ghenova, 1 A Ingenieros, Seabery, Kolokium, TSK, and the participation of the Guardia Civil as the managing entity of complex processes and the Universities of Granada and Salamanca and the Technological Institute of Castilla y León (ITCL).

How we made it happen
Research in 3D modeling technologies
Álava Ingenieros assumes in this project the functions of coordinator with the rest of the entities and plays the role of backbone of the entire project. This will entail the supervision of all the actions of the project to guarantee the success of the technical objectives and generic commitments.
She is also in charge of research in 3D modeling technologies, data analytics by artificial intelligence, as well as 3D data visualization, leading the creation of a new complete digital twin solution incorporating different technologies.
MonoM is the entity in charge of research in IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and advanced analytics by artificial intelligence, improving this technology for data processing and analysis in industrial environments with digital twin.
