PROJECT OBJECTIVE
INTA-NASA Training and Visitor Center Perimeter Protection
The INTA-NASA Training and Visitor Center, being a critical facility for both research and space operations, required a highly reliable and effective perimeter security system. The main objective of this project was to develop and implement a solution that would effectively protect the perimeter against any attempt of intrusion or unauthorized access that could breach the security and operability of the station.
Focused on this goal, we sought a technology that would not only provide a robust defense against intrusions, but could also discriminate between real threats and false alarms caused by environmental factors such as wind, rain or passing vehicles. This was essential to minimize disruptions and ensure that security resources were optimally utilized.
In addition, the system needed to be scalable and adaptable, capable of integrating with other existing security technologies and response systems at the station. Effective integration of these systems is crucial to create a cohesive security network that can operate uninterrupted under any circumstances, thus ensuring the continuity and integrity of the station's critical operations.
With these requirements in mind, the project not only sought to protect the physical perimeter, but also to strengthen the overall security infrastructure of the station, providing a solid platform for future improvements and upgrades as security needs and technologies evolve.

Innovative Technology for Advanced Detection
The installed system is characterized by its exceptional ability to detect any disturbance along the 3,200-meter perimeter, meticulously evaluating every meter. This advanced technology is able to differentiate between potentially dangerous disturbances and harmless movements caused by adverse weather conditions or nearby vehicular traffic. Thanks to its high signal-to-noise ratio, bandwidth and dynamic range, the system offers superior detection probability with a very low false alarm rate.
This technologically advanced approach has resulted in enhanced security and more efficient risk management on the Space Station. The implementation of this system has not only protected the physical integrity of the perimeter, but has also provided peace of mind to station operators and managers, knowing that they have one of the most effective and reliable security solutions on the market.

RESULTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Adaptable and flexible technology
The implementation of this state-of-the-art technology at the INTA-NASA Training and Visitor Center has led to a number of positive results and tangible benefits:
- Increased perimeter security: the system has demonstrated remarkable effectiveness in intrusion detection, achieving complete control over the 3,200-meter perimeter. This has virtually eliminated security breaches, ensuring that all areas are constantly monitored and protected.
- Reduced false alarms: Thanks to advanced signal analysis technology, the system has significantly reduced the number of false alarms, allowing security personnel to focus on real threats, improving incident response and operational efficiency.
- Improved risk management: he ability to detect and discriminate between real threats and harmless movements has improved risk management at the station. This level of accuracy ensures that security resources are used more effectively, optimizing both costs and efforts.
- Peace of mind for personnel: The reliability and effectiveness of the system has provided greater peace of mind to all levels of station personnel, from operators to managers. Knowing that critical infrastructure is well protected contributes to a safer and more stable working environment.
- Future-proofing: the system not only meets today's security needs, but is also designed to adapt and scale with future expansions or technology upgrades, ensuring its long-term relevance and usefulness.
