Overfly Forum'23 exceeded all expectations. We couldn't be happier, we still can't believe it.

There are few things that give greater satisfaction than savoring the achievements of effort. When you dedicate your whole life to knowing yourself, following your instinct and trusting the people around you, it is impossible not to feel fulfilled, even more so if success comes with it.

We imagine that Jaime Álava, our president, may be feeling something like this right now. 50 years after the creation of his "small company", Grupo Álava presents itself to the market as the great engine of change in Spain, Portugal and the United States. An entire trajectory dedicated to the digital transformation of national and international companies, hand in hand with leading technology partners worldwide.

Overfly Forum'23

On June 21 and 22, the event celebrating the 50th anniversary of Grupo Álava took place: Overfly Forum'23. As this is such an important milestone for us - which will mark a before and after in our history - Cristina González (Sensors and Equipment Business Unit Director), we wanted to celebrate it with all those who have accompanied us during all this time. The same ones who have made it possible that today, we are the only Spanish company in the world with more than 1000 projects completed, in 13 different industries, with a turnover of 60 million € and an average annual growth of 10% in the last 5 years. Whose synergy between the 5 companies that make it up covers all the needs of the industrial market. We are very happy to say that Overfly Forum'23 exceeded each and every one of our expectations, including our own.

We now feel a deep admiration for the company we belong to, and we understand that every piece of the puzzle is essential for everything to work. From customers and partners, to employees and other organizations, who curiously share the same goal: to provide society with tools that can make their daily lives easier.

How did we do it?

Thanks to the wide variety of technology partners that walk alongside us, we were able to organize the event around 4 thematic areas: Smart Industry, Smart Cities, Smart Energy and Innovation Corner. With exhibition space and high-level conferences for each of them. More than 70 presentations, 28 exhibitors and a great team behind us that made it a real success.
