New high vibration electronic switch PRE1520

Preditec/IRM is launching a new vibration switch that is fully programmable via PC software. In addition, it is equipped with the possibility to set the alarm level magnetically in a quick and easy way.

The PRE1520, similar in appearance to a standard accelerometer, is the best low-cost alternative for applications where a single relay is required to stop the machine or warn of a hazardous condition to protect the machine from catastrophic failure.

Currently, some engineering companies still design with criteria of more than forty years ago when recommending mechanical vibration switches, these have the disadvantage that it is not easy to verify its proper functioning and therefore, we do not have all the guarantees that the day they are required to act, they will work properly.
