Today, March 31, 2022, we announce the departure of José María Almazán, current Vice President of Sales of the Álava Group, and we propose Juan Rueda Sánchez as the new Vice President of Business Development of the Group. He will assume the responsibilities of Commercial Director and Vice President of Sales.

After 23 years, developing a proverbial professional career and helping the company grow in an extraordinary way, José Mª has taken the decision to undertake new professional projects of his own that will allow him to culminate his professional career as the owner of his own project.

The Alava Group would like to thank Jose Mª Almazán for all the work he has done and his tremendous contribution to our organization, and we wish him the best of success in his new professional project, which will not be within the Group's competence and with which we hope to continue collaborating.

We also announce that Juan Rueda Sánchez, currently Corporate Commercial Director and member of the Board of Directors of the company, has been promoted to new Vice President of Business Development of the Alava Group.

The merits and capabilities that Juan Rueda Sánchez has demonstrated, as commercial director and member of the Board of Directors, have made him worthy of this new responsibility, and from Grupo Álava we are sure that he is the right person to carry out the necessary transformation in which the company is immersed and which is leading it to lead the changes that are necessary in the market, thus allowing it to bring new successes, the same as has happened in the almost 50 years of the company's life.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Juan and wish him every success in his new responsibility.
