The platform that helps you manage your assets according to ISO 55000 is called Kipula Asset Management Advanced Tool.
As a result of the knowledge and professional experience of the promoting team, Kipula is presented as a powerful software tool, developed for the management of the life cycle activities of the physical assets of an industrial process or infrastructure, complying with the 28 requirements of the PAS55-2008 standard. Its objectives are:
Eliminate gaps in the transmission of information, providing management with all relevant information on physical assets, necessary for making strategic decisions related to business continuity.
Provide all levels of management with a single, user-friendly and integrated tool.
INNOVATIVE INTEGRATION CONCEPT
It integrates under a "layered" model the necessary information entities to carry out an advanced, optimized and efficient management of the physical assets of a production process.
All the information entities, from the most basic, in which the technical aspect prevails over the economic aspect, to the most complex, in which the "gross figure" is what is really important, are intertwined, with the traceability of the information entities being an aspect of this meshed structure. In this way, data are entered only once and automatically transmitted through the different layers of information.
Prioritization of life cycle activities. Criticality analysis is at the heart of Kipula. It represents the starting point in the definition of an optimized management strategy and a future RCM analysis. The impact on business continuity (availability, cost, legal non-compliance, etc.) of an asset failure and the probability of its occurrence are the aspects evaluated for the calculation of an asset's criticality.
The application allows by a simple click:
- Analyze cumulative costs (Operational, Maintenance, Reliability and Energy) and compare them over the life cycle of an asset.
- Track asset-related expenses economically and compare them with the annual budgeted amount (Opex and Capex).
- To know the actual condition and technical risk associated with each physical asset.
- Short, medium and long term perspective of a physical asset. Taking into account the ultimate goal of the application, Kipula allows to carry out a medium and long term cost projection, technically supported by a condition analysis, allowing an optimal risk management, obtaining the best results and optimizing the economic resources of the organization.
- Current economic outlook: Kipula has a budget modeler, which takes into account all the inputs of the activities related to the life cycle of an asset with a time horizon synchronized with the short and medium term outlook.
This advanced physical asset management tools includes advanced physical asset management tools such as RCM, RCA and LCCA, whose ultimate goal is continuous improvement, allowing the user to deepen the knowledge of their assets and establish specific plans for improvement and monitoring, associated with each asset.
Kipula also integrates a document manager that incorporates a powerful and simple search tool, allowing from any module, to associate and consult for each asset, repair or condition assessment reports, operation and maintenance manuals, or any other type of document created by the user of the application.
