Teresa Riesgo Alcaide

Professor of Electronic Technology at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales of the UPM, where she has developed her entire teaching and research career. Since 2003 she has been the UPM representative in the TIME network and a member of its management committee. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee of UniBasq, of the Institutional Quality Assessment Committee of ACSUCyL and of the Advisory Committee of the Teaching and Institutional Assessment Division of ANECA.

José Bayón

Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and Production and Logistics Engineer from the Technical University of Munich in Germany (UTM). He has also completed a Master's Degree in Political Management at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Previously, his professional career has been developed in the private industrial sector, as an engineer in the areas of R&D and production, implementing and managing industrial processes in corporations such as Mercedes Benz Car Group in Germany, General Electric, Airbus and General Dynamics.

Joaquín Rodríguez Grau

Engineer with a master's degree in planning and in economic and financial management. He is CEO of CATEC (Centro Avanzado de Tecnologías Aeroespaciales), the largest technology center in Spain in the field of space and aeronautics, including two flight test centers. In addition, he has been recognized by the European Commission as the most innovative organization in Europe in the ICT field, receiving the Innovation Radar Prize. 

Ainara Santa Eufemia

Business Development Director of Satlantis, graduated in Geographic Sciences from the University of Valladolid and Master in Business Administration and Management. She has held positions in companies in the space sector and has also gained experience in operations as Project Manager for the O&G sector in the MENA region, among others.

Silvia Lazcano

He has a professional career of more than 4 decades in CSIC, CASA and Airbus. She has chaired or is part of the governing bodies of PAE, MATERPLAT, Observatorio Industria 4.0 or FEI, among other organizations. She has received awards such as Retina ECO 2022, Best Professional Career for Women and Aeronautics 2023 and Best Professional Career TEDAE 2024. Since April 2023 she has been acting as Senior Advisor.

Raúl Herrero Moreno

Industrial Mechanical Engineer from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, with more than 20 years of experience in the aeronautical, space and defense sectors, working for clients such as Airbus, Indra and CERN. Throughout his career, he has developed activities in areas such as structural calculation, quality assurance, test development and R&D projects, both at national and European level. He is currently responsible for the CEiiA Test Center in Matosinhos-Porto (Portugal). He is passionate about mountains, sports and enjoying with family and friends.

Demetrio Lopez

Demetrio López Molina was born in Madrid in 1962. He obtained his degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 1987 and for more than 35 years, he has accumulated extensive experience in the identification and management of research and innovation projects. He has been fortunate to work in different companies, all related to space and this has allowed him to develop a fairly broad vision of the value chain from basic technologies to system level testing. Since January 2015, he has taken on a new responsibility in the company as Innovation Director within ALTER TECHNOLOGY GROUP...All this while sharing his huge love for music, motorcycles and sailing.

Josep Colome

Josep Colomé is the Director of the Area of Promotion of the Catalan Space Sector at the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC). As director of this area at IEEC, he carries out the promotion of the Catalan space sector in coordination with the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya, within the framework of the NewSpace Strategy approved in October 2020. Josep holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Barcelona and in his career of more than 20 years in the space sector he has held positions of direction and management of infrastructures and terrestrial instrumentation such as the Montsec Observatory or manager at national level of ESA missions such as Ariel or LISA.

Aeronautical Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry, specialized in international business development, general management and sales and marketing strategies. He currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at Grupo Álava, leading the company's expansion and global strategy. Previously, he held management roles at ABB and Yokogawa Iberia, where he was Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as General Manager at Yokogawa. 

Mar García Ramos

More than 25 years as a professional expert in Business Strategy and Innovation for the Automotive and Sustainable Mobility and Industry sector, and for almost 20 years Partner in different firms: PwC, S&F Consultants, Grant Thornton and currently in ecuatrocero. Her professional beginnings are in the industry as an engineer, occupying technical positions in Enresa and Repsol. Her expertise is focused on Innovation: identification of solutions, the configuration of differential business models, starting from ideation and the creation of public-private collaborative environments, where governance is the key to success.

Yago Sanchez

Engineer and Master in Aerospace Engineering, he developed his studies in the USA, and accumulates more than 20 years of experience in high technology environments for the aerospace, automotive, R+D+i, agri-food, defense and energy sectors. Within the Alava Group he has held different roles and has managed several business lines, including the Imaging, Photonics and Nanotechnology Business Unit. He is currently Corporate Director of Strategic Alliances and Team Leader of the new business line of New Space.
