This course prepares the student for qualification as a category 2 certified thermographer.
The participant will learn about infrared thermography topics to increase their knowledge of physics, heat science and infrared measuring equipment and its application.
As a level 2 thermographer, the trainee is able to provide guidance to category 1 personnel in the areas of equipment selection, techniques, limitations, data analysis, corrective actions and reporting.
With a duration of 40 hoursthe course includes theory, practice with cameras (hands on) and case studies prepared on alternate days. This training ends with the completion of a written exam (closed book) including multiple-choice questions and practical practical interpretation of images on the last day. The maximum duration is as defined by the relevant certification standards.
