Summary:
It is true that we are experiencing a digital transformation of the industry as we know it, where data plays a relevant role. It is also true that the more information we have about our assets, the greater our potential to manage them, but we must be clear about the final application we want to avoid drowning in a sea of data that does not add value to our business model.
Today approximately 45% of plants are focusing their IOT initiatives on applications related to predictive maintenance.
