Accustomed to seeing topography, the city and urban planning in 2D on our screens, digitalization has been incorporated as a precise technology. In this case, we refer to BIM technology.
Thanks to it, it is becoming increasingly common to visualize 3D screens where the terrain is taking center stage, being of great relevance and realism and providing information in a way that helps us to enrich our projects.
In a world where maintaining leadership and competitiveness is increasingly complicated, BIM digitization of infrastructures is an essential tool. The interconnection between the parties requires practical, complete and accurate information in order to work efficiently without wasting resources.
Designers, builders, installers, maintainers, owners and operators. They must all use the same tools and speak a common language. This is what digitalization is all about.
it is time for data
"It is the time for data" and LiDAR and modeling solutions , as well as our experience that we at Alava Ingenieros | Grupo Alava make available to the sector, make the difference in the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure, thus extending its useful life and obtaining valuable information for decision making.
This type of work methodology is applied to different types of infrastructures or structures, such as the following:
- Railway Infrastructure
- Road infrastructure
- Building
- Equity.
With this acquired data and the BIM methodology, a collaborative methodology for project design and management is created. This methodology centralizes all the information of a project: geometry, time, costs, maintenance, etc. A digital model generated collaboratively among all its agents.
BIM digitization is here and here to stay.
Since December 2018, it has been mandatory to implement BIM methodology in Spain in service contracting files - drafting and project management - and works, in public tenders for building construction.
