Last week took place the ITC Level I Thermography Certificate Course, as an introduction to the concept of infrared thermography.

aired by Rafael Royo Pastor (Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia) at the offices of Grupo Álava in Madrid, the ITC Level I Thermography Certificate Course aimed to introduce infrared thermography to beginners.

Infrared technology has numerous applications. Thanks to this course the students, including Juan Gavira, Victor Franco, Raul Gamez and Miguel Angel Simarro, have learned the basic principles of infrared thermography. They also learned how to use thermal imaging cameras under different conditions and in various applications, how to properly judge the measurement situation in the field, how to identify possible sources of error and how to prepare thermographic reports.

In particular, our colleague Miguel Angel Simarro (Predictive Maintenance Engineer at Preditec), tells us: "What I liked most about the course is that we had the opportunity to practice with multiple models of thermal imaging cameras. Thanks to the demos that were made in the classes we have strengthened the theoretical concepts".

We would like to thank all the attendees of this course and invite you to learn more about infrared technology. Contact us, we will be happy to help you.
