Discover how to use Osisoft® PI to store Setpoint® vibration data

Through the following tutorial you can see how the SETPOINT monitoring system can be used to send vibration data (including waveforms) to the Osisoft PI system, eliminating the need for stand-alone vibration software and without sacrificing the vibration analysis functionality required to analyze rotating machinery failures. They will explain how this "high speed" information can be placed in PI tags, how the system conserves storage and bandwidth by borrowing concepts from video streaming, and finally show how the system allows the user to visualize this information in specialized formats for vibration analysis. Finally, we will see the hardware used to carry out these functionalities and its compatibility with other monitoring systems.
