Preditec | Grupo Álava will be present at the 15th Technical Conference on maintenance in the energy sector that the Spanish Maintenance Association is organizing on October 25 and 26, 2017 in Oviedo.
The Committee of Maintenance in the Energy Sector considers that this Conference is the ideal forum to address issues from the perspective of both production companies and service companies. The latter have to adapt with the speed that the times require to this new horizon and be closer to the production companies and to propose the best approach of their services for them to meet their business objectives.
During two days, October 25 and 26, excellent professionals will be present, where 16 presentations will be given on relevant topics such as technological advances and their applications, energy transport systems, diagnostics of assets in power generation plants and a "debate-colloquium" that will help us to analyze and determine what "digitalization to maintenance" brings to us.
A comprehensive program that will help to know the state of this sector and that will meet one of the objectives of the AEM, which is the "networking" between speakers and attendees.
Juan Carlos Galán, from Preditec | Grupo Álava, will be present with the paper: New Industry 4.0 tools for remote monitoring.
Abstract: Recently there has been talk about the possibilities that Industry 4.0 and digitization offer for the monitoring and predictive diagnosis of physical assets. These new possibilities, which until a couple of years ago were futuristic, are in some cases already available and operational. New approaches, new sensors, new communication protocols, new ways of managing and articulating, open up hitherto unattainable possibilities. The fusion of the know-how developed over the last thirty years and current technologies is the ideal combination for reliable monitoring to optimize the maintenance of critical assets. The communications era allows the ubiquity of analysts, or rather, of their analysis, since from the monitoring centers they supervise, analyze, diagnose and make recommendations to avoid unexpected failures and apply maintenance tasks at the most appropriate times.
Juan Carlos Galán is an Industrial Engineer, expert in industrial monitoring systems for rotating and reciprocating machinery with more than ten years of experience in the sector.
